Please check with your insurance company before attending your appointments in order to have a clear understanding of your mental health benefits, copays, deductibles, etc.
If you would like to use insurance, please contact me and I would be happy to verify your benefits to see if your sessions can be covered. Please note I would need your insurance provider and policy details.
Some insurance plans will have out-of-network benefits that can cover a percentage of therapy costs. If I’m not in-network with your insurance company, I can provide a detailed receipt called a Superbill, for you to submit for possible reimbursement.
Please contact your insurance company for more information about whether or not out-of-network benefits could be a viable option for you.
I also accept private pay, which is done with Stripe via Simple Practice.

What Sessions Look Like:
Our sessions will often start with a quick check-in, followed by a conversation about what might be helpful for us to explore. I will ask if there is anything coming up for you that you would like to discuss, and we’ll address it (unless we have been working on something specific).
I believe you are the expert of your own life, and that belief is central to how I approach therapy. I deeply value your autonomy and will always honor your rights as a person.
I value a holistic approach to therapy, which means I think there is an intersection between our mental, physical, emotional and sexual health. During therapy, we will address these as a whole and explore how they impact each other. My goal is that therapy be the place where you can show up in whatever way feels right for you.
Modalities & Specialties:
I consider myself an eclectic therapist, meaning I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities to best support your unique needs. I approach our work through a feminist therapy lens, which means we’ll explore not just your internal world, but also the external systems like family dynamics, cultural norms, and environmental factors, that often shape how you experience yourself and the world around you.
My specialties include:
Adjustment Issues
Anxiety
Life Transitions
Hispanic/ Latine Issues
Relationship Issues
Sex Therapy
