Are sessions in person or virtual?

I currently only offer virtual therapy sessions. You must be residing in Florida to receive therapy services from me. I offer coaching on a case-to-case basis, which is available to people located anywhere in the USA. I use a HIPAA-compliant platform (SimplePractice), which is easily accessible from a computer, phone, or tablet. Do you accept insurance?

Yes, I do accept insurance. Feel free to reach out with your insurance details, and I’ll check your coverage and let you know what’s possible. If I’m not in-network with your plan, I can also provide a Superbill that you can submit for potential out-of-network reimbursement. I also work with private pay clients if that’s a better fit for you.

What if I’m too embarrassed/not ready to talk about something?

Please know that I’ll always do my best to meet you where you are. We’ll explore whatever’s coming up at a pace that feels right for you. If something doesn’t feel ready to be talked about, that’s completely okay; we’ll take things step by step.

Are sessions confidential?

Confidentiality is a big part of therapy, and I take it seriously. What we talk about stays between us, with a few exceptions (like if there’s a risk of harm to yourself or others, or in cases of abuse/neglect). I’ll go over all of that in our first session so you know exactly what to expect.

What if we don’t click?

Finding a therapist you connect with is really important. I do my best to build a strong, supportive relationship, but if it doesn’t feel like the right fit, no worries at all. Just let me know, and I’ll gladly help you find someone who might be a better match or offer referrals.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes, I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. If I receive less than 24 hours’ notice, there’s a $100 late cancellation or no-show fee.

Do you offer a sliding scale?

I offer sliding scale slots when available. Check with me to see if I have any openings.

What are your business hours?

I typically work Monday-Thursday from 10AM-7PM. If you reach out Friday-Sunday, those days are not considered business hours, and I might not respond to your inquiry until the next business day. If you are experiencing a crisis or medical emergency, please call 911 or 988 and/or go to your nearest emergency room.

What are your session availabilities?

I offer appointments from Mondays - Thursdays; no Fridays or weekend availability at this time. Please reach out and we can schedule a time that works best for you.
